what are you doing this weekend?

oh, friday, it's good to see you.

this has been a week, hasn't it? aside from everything that's going on in japan (and libya, too) -- which, as we all know, is completely heartbreaking and devastating and terrifying -- i've been trying to kick the never-ending cold and i just can't seem to quite do it.

but there have been good things, too. work is going really well, i got a much-needed haircut, i celebrated a dear friend's birthday, and i have some other things happening that i'll share with you next week. also, it's officially the time of year i like to call perfect -- 75 degrees during the day, 50-something at night; warm enough to wear shorts, cool enough to not have to turn on the a.c. i hope you all are experiencing equally wonderful weather, wherever you may be.

this weekend, i have to go to a work event on saturday morning, but i plan on laying low the rest of the time -- i'm in that mood right now -- with the exception of some friend time and hopefully some outdoor exercise. i also want to whip up some sort of sweet treat, so we'll see how it all pans out. no matter what, it should be a good few days.
