File this one under "random," for sure, but how awesome is this washi-taped Mini Cooper? It's so bright and cheerful and I love those stripes.
I'm not car-obsessed by any means, but I'm actually soon to be in the market for a new vehicle—I like to joke that my current one is held up by "duct tape and wishes," and I am not exaggerating when I say that (it's especially amusing when I have to valet park at the Ritz for an event or something)—and a Mini is at the top of my list. I love them so much. It helps that everyone I know who has one does, too.
What's your dream car?

HA! Please put gold polka dots on a white mini convertible. But seriously...
ReplyDeleteWe just got our first car since living in the city about a year ago, a little Ford Fiesta, and we love love love it for city parking and zooming around. She's surprisingly roomy and accommodating for a compact car.
My dad works in the auto industry, so I've driven and leased just about eveything under the sun that Ford and the related brands offer. But oddly, now it's the Fiesta, the basic car I've ever driven that is my favorite. I think it's because it is MINE :) And she's this fun little thing that takes A and I all of the places.

P.S. If you're in the market for a new Ford car, I have the hook up (read: discount). Just let me know!
DeleteYou're so sweet! THANK YOU! I'm so glad you love your car. They really do become such a part of us; though mine has some serious cosmetic issues, she also was my first car (the first one I bought on my own!) and I really do love her and refer to her as my "White Beauty." The day I trade her in will definitely be sad!
DeleteToo cute!
ReplyDeleteRight?! I just love it.

Too cute! While I don't ever look at cars, for some reason, I know there has to be a moped in my future. Vintage inspired with a color-coordinated (but not matching) helmet. So fun! Some day when we're more urban and less suburban this will happen!
